Welcome. I’m Rylee (she/her), a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate based in Washington State. With years of experience in systemic, relational, and community therapy, I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families untangle life’s complexities and move toward healing, growth, and deeper connection. My approach is rooted in compassion and curiosity, creating a space where your story is honored and your unique needs are truly seen.

I draw inspiration from the world around us—the symbolism in art, the cadence of poetry, and the quiet wisdom of nature. Much like life, therapy is a process of uncovering the layers within ourselves: the stories, emotions, and patterns that make us who we are. I believe each person is a hidden gem—multifaceted, complex, and full of untapped brilliance. My role is to walk alongside you as we uncover that brilliance together, helping you embrace every facet of who you are.

Using evidence-based practices such as emotionally focused therapy (EFT), cognitive-behavioral therapy, attachment-focused therapy, and polyvagal theory, I work with both the mind and body to support meaningful, lasting change. I am committed to creating a space where your identity, cultural background, and lived experiences are not only respected but celebrated. My approach is inclusive and attuned, ensuring that therapy is tailored to you as a whole person.

It can be especially painful to be someone who offers so much understanding to others and still feel unseen yourself. That’s why I prioritize creating a warm, supportive environment where you can safely explore your emotions, relationships, and the parts of yourself that may feel hidden or silenced. Together, we’ll uncover new ways to feel connected, grounded, and authentically you.

Outside of my practice, I find joy in both quiet reflection and new experiences. Whether I’m hiking, practicing yoga, reading, traveling, learning about different cultures, or spending time with the people I love, I value the experiences that help us grow, stay curious, and feel fully engaged with life. These values of exploration, connection, and lifelong learning continue to shape both who I am as a person and how I show up as a therapist.

I’d be honored to walk with you on your journey toward healing, growth, and the discovery of the incredible gem you already are.

Hi, I’m Rylee!

My Approach to therapy

As a trauma-informed practitioner, I believe that providing clear information about the therapeutic process is essential for empowering and supporting clients. Understanding what to expect can significantly enhance your experience and effectiveness in therapy.

The therapy process begins with a 15-minute consultation to determine if we are a good fit. If we decide to move forward, we will schedule a comprehensive, hour-and-a-half-long intake appointment. During this session, we will complete essential paperwork and discuss the issues that brought you to therapy. Following the intake, I typically recommend weekly sessions for the next four weeks to gather detailed information and understand the dynamics at play. Based on this initial phase, we will collaboratively develop a treatment plan tailored to your goals. From there, we will work together to implement and adjust the plan as needed to support your progress.
